# MPCKT

First and foremost, MPCKT is the Project Token.

It has numerous use-cases within the ecosystem, which will be detailed in the relevant areas of this wiki, and the easiest way to think of it is as an Arcade token.

MetaBoards is on the [Arbitrum One](https://arbitrum.io/) chain, and as such will also require players to have Arb ETH in their wallets to pay for gas fees, as well as for certain functions within the ecosystem.
