# LP Farming

Use this feature to Lock an amount of LP Tokens to earn rewards over time.

Please only use this function if you understand the implications of doing so, such as possible [Impermanent Loss](https://academy.binance.com/en/articles/impermanent-loss-explained).

If you have already created an LP Pair, you can use the 'Lock LP Token' function to start generating MPCKT Rewards and Rewards Points.

You can also use the 'Direct LP' function to have the LP Pair automatically created and Locked for you.

The first time you add LP, there will be a 25% Withdrawal fee, that will taper down to 1% over 25 days. This is to prevent people from abusing the rewards system.

You can Compound at any time, which will use any pending MPCKT Rewards to create additional LP Tokens, by selling half for ETH, creating the new LP Pair, and Locking it in your Farm. Any pending Rewards Points will also be claimed.

Alternatively, you can Harvest at any time, which will add any pending MPCKT Rewards to your wallet, as well as claiming any pending Rewards Points.

To Lock additional LP Tokens (if you have manually created the Pair yourself), you can click on the green + sign at the bottom left of the Locker tile, and add however much you would like.&#x20;

To Unlock an amount of Locked LP Tokens, you can click the purple - sign at the bottom left of the Locker tile, which will be subject to the current Withdrawal Fee.

The Withdrawal Fees are sent to the Project Operations Wallet.
